CastPilot works with every major podcast hosting platform that exposes a public RSS feed — including Buzzsprout, Transistor, Captivate, Castos, Podbean, Simplecast, Substack, and Spreaker. We pull new episodes from your RSS feed automatically — no custom integration required.

If your host exposes an RSS feed (and almost all of them do — it's how directories pull your show into Apple Podcasts and Spotify), CastPilot can operate against it. We don't care which platform hosts your audio; we only need the feed URL.

Self-hosted shows that publish to a private RSS feed work too — point us at the feed and we handle the rest.

Transcription runs through OpenAI Whisper (the same engine that powers major podcast platforms), and all structuring and copywriting passes use GPT-4o with prompts custom-tuned per project. That means the output tone, terminology, and structure match your show's voice — not a generic AI default.

We measure and surface timestamp fidelity on every output: each section in your show notes is anchored to the exact second in the source audio where the topic shifts. Clips and social posts are timestamped the same way.

Editing is optional. Every output is editable in the dashboard before or after publication, but most beta hosts skip that step because the prompts are project-specific enough to get close on the first pass.

You retain full ownership. Everything CastPilot generates — transcripts, show notes, clips, social posts, digest emails — is yours to publish, edit, delete, redistribute, or monetize however you like. No licensing claims, no royalties, no lock-in.

Audio files are stored encrypted at rest in Cloudflare R2, and we never share them or use them to train external models. Generated text is processed through our AI providers under their data-use agreements; we do not contribute your content to any third-party training set.

Deletion is one click in the dashboard. When you delete a project, the audio, transcript, and all derived assets are removed within 24 hours. If you churn, your data export is yours to keep — we don't hold it hostage.

Three tiers ship when we exit beta: a Free Beta tier (limited seats, currently active), Solo at $29/month for independent hosts, and Studio at $99/month for networks and multi-show operators. Full tier comparison is on the pricing page.

Solo and Studio bill monthly by default. You can switch to annual billing from the dashboard at any time — a 20% discount applies, prorated automatically, no support ticket needed.

You can cancel at any time. No contracts. Cancellation stops the next billing cycle; your data stays accessible for 30 days and is exportable the entire time. We're betting the product earns retention, not fine print.

From the moment you upload (or your RSS feed publishes a new episode), the full pipeline — transcription, show notes, clips, social posts, and digest queue — completes in under 10 minutes for a 60-minute episode. Most episodes come back faster than that.

There's no manual trigger you have to press and no review gate you have to clear. Upload once, and notes, clips, and social copy land in your dashboard before the episode is even live in some cases (when triggered by RSS detection).

For paid tiers, a priority processing queue drops that further — Studio plans typically see 90-second turnaround on standard-length episodes. We'll share queue stats once those plans ship.

Both — and everything in between. Solo shows, co-hosted shows, single-guest interviews, multi-guest panel episodes, narrative/documentary style shows: CastPilot handles them all because the pipeline runs against the transcript, not against a format assumption.

For multi-speaker episodes, we split and timestamp by speaker automatically, so show notes attribute sections to the right host or guest. Clips are picked from high-engagement moments regardless of who is speaking.

For solo shows, you get cleaner section structure (no speaker segmentation) and the custom prompt can lean harder into your personal voice and recurring segment naming (e.g. "Cold Open," "Main Segment," "Closing Thoughts").
